Clearhearted is a relationship publication for women who want clarity instead of guesswork.
Most relationship advice online falls into one of two piles. The first tells you what he’s really thinking, as though men were a single species with one operating manual. The second tells you to simply communicate better, which is true and completely useless if nobody shows you how.
We aim for the space between: specific, practical writing about the situations that actually keep people up at night. Why he pulled away after a good week. What to say when the same argument arrives for the fifth time. How to set a boundary without it turning into an ultimatum.
How we work
Every article starts with a real question, the kind people type into a search bar at midnight. We research it, structure it ourselves, and write it in plain language. We don’t rewrite other people’s articles, and we don’t publish filler to fill a schedule.
Where we reference psychology or research, we say where it comes from. Where we’re offering a general observation rather than an established finding, we say that too. The difference matters, and blurring it is how bad advice spreads.
What we don’t do
We don’t diagnose anyone. Not you, and definitely not your partner from a paragraph of description. Terms like narcissist and attachment disorder are clinical, and using them casually turns a hard relationship into a hopeless one.
We don’t tell you to check his phone, track his location, or read his messages. That advice is everywhere in this genre. It damages trust, it can be illegal, and it never once answered the question the person was actually asking.
We’re not therapists, and this site isn’t therapy. If something you’re facing needs professional support, we’ll say so and point you toward it.
Who’s behind it
Clearhearted is written and edited by a small editorial team. We publish under the Clearhearted name rather than personal bylines, because the work should stand on its research and usefulness rather than on a claimed personal history.
We hold ourselves to the standards in our Editorial Policy, and when we get something wrong we fix it visibly. See our Corrections Policy.
